An amazing and wild size Hamadan Rug from the 1930s. Sitting on a madder red ground with indigo blue, it features a repeating design on the field. This rug is hand knotted with wool that was dyed naturally and it is a super durable rug that will decorate a space and give it that pop!
This rug was borrowed and actually with world famous designer, Emily Henderson, for a few months while she was settling into her new home in Southern California. It was something she kept for a while in her den while she was going through many design changes in her home. We recently got it back, gave it another bath and now it is back up for a new home!
This is an antique rug with some nice wear and a little tear...but donäó»t worry, itäó»s been re-secured to keep this historical gem going for generations more. Please see pics and feel free to reach out for more or to do a video walk through and truly experience this treasure.
