8x11 Neutral Vintage Rug / Neutral Large Vintage Heriz Rug #3774

Regular price $6,300.00

For those who love the soul of an old Persian rug but prefer something with a more subdued appearance, this 1920s Persian Heriz is the perfect find. It carries all the hallmarks of the classic tribal Heriz rug—bold structure, rich heritage, and unmistakable craftsmanship—but with a softer, more muted palette that brings warmth without overwhelming a space. Thanks to a compound wash, this rug has taken on a gorgeous, neutral-toned look, making it an effortless fit for a range of interiors.

This Persian Heriz stays true to its roots, featuring a grand, geometric medallion flanked by strong poled floral geometric medallions on top and bottom of it and framed by a striking turtle border motif—a design that has been woven for generations and has never gone out of demand.  This piece will feel warmer in some settings and more subtle in others—all depending on lighting. And here’s a little surprise—at one end of the rug, you’ll find a dash of red umber, a subtle but striking touch.

And let’s talk condition—this beauty is squeaky clean, heavy, and durable with complete bound selvedges and secure ends, meaning it’s fully intact and built to handle real life. Let the big dogs play atop—this rug can handle it. At 8x11, it’s a fantastic size, large enough to anchor a room while still feeling intimate and inviting.

If you're looking for an antique Persian rug without too much pizzazz but all the charm, this is the one.
