From one of the most respected towns that wove rugs and esteemed by collectors as one of the finest of Persians, this Tabriz displays an incredible amount of detail with small scale art and lattice design. Perhaps what is most striking is the lima bean green that we see, dressed in the borders and throughout the rug.
We promise, this rug and its remarkable natural dyes is way better, in person. The lanolin rich wool is luxurious and superior to other Persians and you'll see its quality from miles and miles away.
The weave is super tight and from highly skilled artisans. It is a very fine rug and this piece is from the 1920s. It has been well preserved through time and is in superb condition for its age. It will undoubtedly be the centerpiece to the room it is styled in and its all over pattern will be easy to work with.
Handwoven with all natural, vegetable dyed wool. The ground color is navy blue.
