Made of vegetable dyed wool and non-dyed camel hair, this Persian camel hair runner definitely has our attention. This Persian runner is from circa 1880 and it comes from the Northwest of the country and was woven undoubtedly with the wool of weaver’s own camel and sheep. This runner is worn, and has amazing tribal art with earthy tones and amazing shades of blue throughout. This Persian also features a great deal of lovely abrash as many different lots of small batch, vegetable dyed wool was used to weave this gorgeous heirloom that its next keeper gets to cherish.
While this is low pile and has wear earned through time, this runner is still stout and solid and will endure high traffic and be a great runway of art that can be placed in a hallway or kitchen.
