This little P e r s i a n stands out with a royal touch! It is a gorgeous T a b r i z and these fine rugs have extraordinary precision and regularity in their tightly woven weave. T a b r i z rugs are very well known and respected by rug enthusiasts and collectors. The weavers in this region in NW P e r s i a had strict standards of craftsmanship and used the very best wool and materials in their pieces. You'll usually see them with elaborate floral design as we see this one here. 

T a b r i z was and still remains the epicenter of classically designed carpets. Due to superior quality and construction, many of these rugs that were woven a century back were kept by the elite.
