4’8 x 6’10 Antique 1920s rug #1136 / 5x7 vintage Rug

Sizing up at nearly 5x7, this old P e r s i a n has a great, midsize measure and features a small scale Mahi (fish) design in the field surrounding an antique ivory diamond medallion. This rug also has chickens scattered about and really tells us about the weaver's natural surroundings.

This 1920s P e r s i a n is low pile on a navy blue ground. It was woven with all natural, vegetable dyed wool. One area had some wear and it has been secured from the underside of the rug, to keep and preserve its integrity. Please see pic with hand in the frame for the up close look of it.
