The border bands frame this masterpiece beautifully, a continuous motif glides along an inviting ivory band, while the coral-toned botanical border carries a mesmerizing abrash, a change in wool batch that adds a unique vibe. And along the outer guard, the Fence of Security motif stands like a quiet sentinel.
One side of the main field displays a collection of curious motifs woven in by the artisan, like a personal signature left for keen eyes to find. Despite its years, this rug remains strong, its handwoven vegetable dyed wool standing the test of time.
