Set against a deep navy backdrop, the medallion finds balance in the warm red ground above and below with anchored motifs, while ivory corner spandrels lend contrast and elegance.
Handwoven from vegetable dyed wool, its colors, once vibrant, have mellowed into a rich, time-earned patina. The years have softened its edges and added a gentle wear that only enhances its charm. Tribal symbols whisper the traditions of the Bakhtiari weavers, their meaning woven as much into the fabric as the wool itself.
