Handwoven in the 1920s, this is an antique Northwest Persian runner from Heriz and it comes with amazing geometric design, ground color and condition.
It is low pile and has 7 medallions running down the field with an amazing border featuring wine cups and serrated leaves. It locks much symbolism and history within every inch of its being.
With the width at 2’9”, it works with the more challenging spaces. We don't get these old runners often on the skinny, but now those narrow hallways or kitchen problems are solved with this perfect dash of personality.
Hand knotted with vegetable dyed wool circa 1920.
