From Persia, this is an antique bag face from an old saddle bag that tribal people used to carry on their camels in their travels, circa 1880. It has a diamond lattice design with scorpion motifs that are symbolic to protect against animal threats or they say the evil eye.
With superbly beautiful color, aged natural dyes. Please note, this piece is not straight and has natural characteristics of an old woven piece. This'll be a perfect little entry mat or scatter rug for a laundry room or a small area that needs some love, decor and soul.
