Europe made these rugs popular starting in the late 19th Century. Kermans have a soft, graceful style that combines elements of classic Persian court carpets with the colors and designs found in French textiles.
The intricate details are beautiful and Kermans are just "happy" rugs. It is low pile, worn. Please see pics for character and condition.
