3’5 x 6’3 Antique Persian Malayer (#1598) / 4x6 vintage rug

From the Hamadan region of Persia, this lovely Malayer features awesome geometric design and motifs throughout. It has a lot of character congruent to it's age with all natural dyes and old world wool that has beautifully aged. The ground color of this beauty is navy blue. 

There is nothing ever synthetic of antique rugs like this one that is 100+ years old, this one being from the 1920s. A rug in this great size will play up a space with loads of charm and history.

Malayer is a village in Northwest Persia and is known to have produced really decorative rugs that are great investments for a home. The wool of this rug is highly durable, strong, and a rug to be enjoyed for decades to come.
