8'2 x 11'6 Antique Persian Heriz (#1679) / 8x12 Vintage Rug

This is a phenomenal early 1900s Persian Heriz with highly stylized floral and geometric motifs and is of excellent quality. It has an alluring appeal with artistic depth that will enhance the interior remarkably. The striking tribal design stands out from many other Heriz with a vivacious display of hue meant to captivate you. This old Persian will undoubtedly be the statement piece in the room it will be styled in. The French blue central medallion with exquisite abrash (variation of natural dyes) is a focal point that highlights the beauty of the rug with large scale angular motifs on top and bottom supporting it.

This rug is low pile and in great shape for its age. Woven in the rugged NW mountains of Persia with all natural, vegetable dyed wool. We found this piece in Canada and are happy to have it in the collection, extended at a phenomenal deal.
