This old rug from the rugged mountains of NW Persia has gorgeous floral-geometric motifs throughout. The shades of green has our hearts throbbing as we rarely see green in antique rugs and this specific natural dye color helps us age the rug to circa 1880. 

Heriz rugs are some of the most recognizable Persian rugs because of their distinctive geometric designs, but this one has such rare and expressive power and we’re proud to have it in the collection and at phenomenal value vs what you would have as a sticker price at a brick and mortar dealer. 

The spirit of this low pile rug is one we cherish and the wool is pretty darn soft with some irresistible, timeworn wear and character.
