Woven in Western Turkey circa 1920, this Turkish rug comes with great history and culture, speaking volumes about its people and a period of time with the beautiful, classical design that it breaths. This worn rug has a beautiful open field on a salmon ground with a large central medallion, and artistic charm with wool that was dyed naturally with vegetables.
It's low pile with a patch and some small tears that have been also secured from the underside of the rug. It'll be a great piece for someone who loves the time worn look and age of a high quality Turkish rug that has a great size to cover ground with style.
