Here’s a phenomenal village rug from Baluchistan, and it has all the moods with its beautifully saturated and naturally dyed wool. It’s wool is low pile and woven on on a wool foundation as well.

The fringes are flat weave and sensational...two different weaving techniques in 1 rug (knotted in the field, flat weave on the ends aka KILIM) and if you look closely, you’ll notice intricate details in the fringes too. So decorative and lovely!

This rug is low pile and well worn, and folds like a napkin! It features super soft wool and is in great shape for its age. A tribal home decor item that aims to please.
