This is a 1920s Turkmen / Turkoman rug with a very fine and labor intensive weave and vibrant colors. It has a soft to the touch texture and the wool has lovely sheen and you can see it glow. Its an old rug woven with wool, on a wool foundation.
The pattern you see are very common amongst these woven rugs. It was hand knotted by the nomadic tribe with natural resources used to dye the wool (veggies, fruits, plants, flowers).
Low pile, woven with vegetable dyed wool, on a wool foundation. In really great condition for its age.
