Small Antique Persian Rug / Navy Blue and Rust 3'5 x 6' Hamadan Rug #3895

Regular price $1,135.00

This little Persian scatter rug has lived a long and storied life, and now it’s ready for its next chapter. An antique from the 1920s, woven in the Hamadan region, it carries that unmistakable charm of a handwoven piece—slightly bowed in areas, an endearing nod to the human hands that brought it to life.

The field is classic navy, filled with the ever-mesmerizing Herati design, also known as the fish pattern, a motif symbolizing water, movement, and protection. Framed by rich rust-toned borders, the color palette is both grounding and vibrant, a perfect balance of warmth and depth. This low pile Persian has lived, has character, and still has plenty of life left to give. With scattered wear that only adds to its charm, it was woven to last, and is ready to serve—whether in a bustling entryway, a well-loved living space, or anywhere that sees high traffic. It’s been around for over a century, and trust me, it’s not slowing down anytime soon.

And then, there’s a little bonus history tucked underneath—an old dealer’s tag from Hoffman Galleries, dated 1985. A breadcrumb from the past, hinting at its journey through time and collectors.

Handwoven with vegetable dyed wool.
